Complete world

I was walking home from a night out with a few of my friends in the rain, when we’d agreed to all just stay at one of these friends houses, as it was the closest.

I also happened to be wearing a frilly white shirt which by this point was entirely see-through from the downpour which probably contributed to her feeling sorry for me.

When we arrived at her house, it was huge, dank and old and looked to be decorated in a Victorian style.

Along one wall there was an old iron ladder which once you climbed past the fifth rung, you were teleported to another world entirely where everyone was happy and the world felt complete.

I wanted to share this discovery with the world however space was limited so nobody else would be able to enter this world after I passed through.

Everybody on the ideal side of the barrier was also unable to go back to the imperfect world and while happy, has resigned themselves to never seeing their family again.

Large groups of these people sat together in large stalls where they were all eating and talking in large groups.
